“I’m aware of the made up declarations about me that have recently begun to appear on the Internet and in emails as “Chuck Norris facts.” I’ve seen some of them. Some are funny. Some are pretty far out. Being more a student of the Wild West than the wild world of the Internet, I’m not quite sure what to make of it. It’s quite surprising. I do know that boys will be boys, and I neither take offense nor take these things too seriously. Who knows, maybe these made up one-liners will prompt young people to seek out the real facts as found in my recent autobiographical book, “Against All Odds?” They may even be interested enough to check out my novels set in the Old West, “The Justice Riders,” released this month. I’m very proud of these literary efforts.”~ Chuck Norris (link)

- December 26th, 2005 at 1:20 pm Chuck Norris once stumbled upon a website with random facts about himself. Although he was flattered, he sent an email to each person who submitted an untrue fact. Upon opening the email, a leather cowboy boot came through each computer screen and roundhouse kicked everyone within a 30 meter radius.

“As you know, there is a wave of people creating Chuck Norris sayings but the monetization of the idea was really unfair to Mr. Norris. Essentially, everyone and their mother started selling items with the sayings using his likeness and name without his consent. He was cool with it at first but it got out of control. He started seeing obscene sites carrying the items, etc. and wanted to get some measure of organization.” Norris teamed up with Spreadshirt to sell official Norris shirts. You can take any phrase from chucknorrisfacts.com and place it on a shirt.” Link (via)
