This flickr hack is awesome. Put in the url of an image and it pastes the picture into a giant frame hanging in a museum with people oogling your work.
Netvibes is turning into one of my favourite hangouts. I predict even bigger things just around the corner for them.
Read more about them on TechCrunch.
"NetVibes has also released an API that enables the development on new plug-ins (more than 74 already present). 8 new were added since yesterday and some very interesting are on the way (video, netflix, myspace)"
One thing I think would be AWESOME would be if someone created a wordpress.com plug in for Netvibes.
Update: Oh yeah, I almost forgot – it NEEDS a PANDORA plug-in too!!! Then I'll never leave!
Janis: We just announced that SkypeOut is now free within the US and Canada to all landlines and mobiles, until at least the end of 2006.
How does this work?
If you’re in the US or Canada, you can use SkypeOut to call any landline or mobile number in both the USA and Canada for free.
If you’re in the US or Canada and calling any other country, OR if you’re in any other country and calling landline or mobile numbers in the US or Canada, the standard SkypeOut rates apply.
Of course, Skype-to-Skype calls continue to be globally free, so no changes there.

I can't figure out why no one publishes an RSS feed of GMAT practice questions (or LSAT or MCAT or SAT or…)
I should be able to go to a site and select the test I want to study for and then choose my test date and set the number of questions per day I want to receive.
I should be able to submit my answers and get feedback on my results.
I should be able to get a summary of my weakest/strongest areas and options for adjusting the types of questions I subscribe to.
Someone let me know when this is ready. Until then I will keep cracking this giant book I have to lug around and the cue cards I use to make notes and keep track of my wrong answers.
By Nathan WeinbergIn ten days, HBO plans to go live with a Google Maps mashup that will help viewers track the actions on the Sopranos. There will be markers on the map that correlate to key plot points, and clicking on them will bring up a popup with information on the episode, including video clips. Its an interesting way to promote the show, and possibly the first time I’ve seen news stories to announce a coming Google Maps mashup.God, I missed the Sopranos. Sure, it isn’t as spectacular as it once was, but its still better than most shows on TV. Hard to believe its been almost two years since the last episode. At least I’ll be able to use Google to see where the next body is dumped, and maybe figure out some the answers to some nagging questions, like how far did Tony walk from Johnny Sack’s place?(link)
